BANKNOTES IN – (HIGH CAPACITY) COINS / TOKENS OUT
The Thomas 5001 is a unique high capacity free standing banknote changer which provides a simple, reliable solution where very high volumes of note change to one or two values of coin or token vending or a combination of these is required.
The coins and / or tokens are paid out into a specially designed paybowl which can also accommodate a removable cup if desired.
Simple to use, the 5001 is available to customers around the clock. It works to support and increase revenue from already established coin operated equipment.
OPERATION
The usual mode of operation will change high value coins to lower value coins / tokens only, but we can also sell a high value coin or token for lower value coins
The coins / tokens are paid out into a specially designed paybowl which can also accommodate a removable cup if desired
The machine is part of a range that can be tailored to suit a variety of applications

FREE OF CHARGE OPTIONS
These options are available free of charge, but please specify your preferred configuration when placing your order to avoid having to buy replacement control chips or other components
- Decimal point – the Liquid Crystal Display can use a decimal point format if required
- Low level sensor – sensor plates fitted to the hopper detect when a low coin situation occurs
Sufficient coins to complete the transaction in progress are available and the machine then goes out of service - Return unpaid credit – is used on machines paying 2 different denominations of coin / token, for occasions when a payout is unable to complete, due to an insufficient quantity of either of the coins / tokens
The option defines whether or not the machine will attempt to return the unpaid credit using coins / tokens from the remaining operational payout system
